More recalls from Mattel - over 800,00 toys!

Another toy recall from huge toy maker Mattel that again has do with Chinese made toys because they may contain too much lead in their paint.

The latest recall now involves a Fisher-price toy as well as accessories to a Barbie playset and covers several hundred thousand units according to the Associated Press today, September 5th, 2007.

This is another sad story to the already alarming sadness of millions of toys being recalled by Mattel because of lead paint and loose magnets. It is said that the Barbie playsets were sold from November 2006 until last month, and the Fisher-Price toy was sold from July 2006 until yesterday!

Please be aware of what you have purchased from ebay and other stores due to this important recall. This is going to make it very hard to buy toys for our childeren, but hopefully it will be a huge wake up call to have more products made here in the USA that follow strict guidelines and quality standards.

Here are the latest affected products on the recall list to date:

-Barbie Table and Chairs Kitchen Playset

-Barbie Bathtub and Toilet Playset

-Barbie Living Room Playset

-Barbie Desk and Chair Bedroom Playset

-Fisher-Price Geotrax Rail and Road System Freightway Transport
