Heads up on the toy recall

Recently in the news you have heard about some major product recalls in several industries regarding products that are imported from China.

Now comes two massive recalls regarding the major toy company Mattel. The first recall covered about a million and a half of their Fisher Price toys with concerns about lead paint.

In Addition, we were made aware of the fact that there are over 250,000 "Sarge" cars from the "Cars" movie with lead paint concerns and roughly nine million toys with tiny magnets that can be very dangerous for smaller kids. Overall there are over 18 million magnetic toys and about 450,000 die cast toy cars that are being recalled. This is very sad news!

Just a heads up on the huge Mattel toy recall. Here is a link to the list of toys recalled by Mattel. This link is a list that includes the Mattel recalls that were announced since August 4, 1998.

For general recall information on any consumer product, and for earlier Mattel recalls, please visit www.recalls.gov.

I wanted you all to be aware of this when buying items on ebay. Maybe this will turn into something good, like having more products made here in the USA!
